UK IT Training Ltd has provided indirectly subsidised training for seven years to selected people who want to train and then start a career in IT. We have a database of over 100 companies throughout London and South East England that employ people with computer qualifications.
Our Two ‘Career Tracks’ have enabled us, in discussion with you, to choose training most suited to you with certifications most likely to help you achieve your IT goals. Both tracks start with a relatively easy foundation course designed to also help people with little computer knowledge. It is followed by:
Track One – a ‘hands-on’ course that teaches you how to run and develop company computer networks – you qualify as a Windows® 2003 Microsoft® Certified Systems Administrator and Engineer. You complete this track with two Cisco network communications courses, which enables in-house IT systems to communicate internally and externally, and gives you the opportunity to specialise in an exciting area of IT and to qualify as both a Cisco™ Certified Entry Network Technician and a Cisco Certified Network Associate.
Track Two teaches you how to design, build and develop websites for companies, including enabling them to sell on the Internet. An explosive increase in this is predicted with a corresponding increase in demand for skilled people. You qualify as a Master Certified Internet Webmaster Designer and a Microsoft Certified Applications and Solutions Developer.
Completing a career track quickly depends largely on how much time you can commit to training and the recommended home study and your flexibility to fit in with our course scheduling. However you should aim to reach the Professional Courses stage within 12 to 24 weeks and the rest within a similar length of time. You have a whole year, if needed, to complete the training up to the Professional Courses and, provided you do this, you have another six months to finish the remaining training.
Some training on both tracks can be taken during evenings and the ECDL foundation course can also be done most Saturdays as we try to maximise opportunities for spare time training. Both tracks are divided into separate modules that you can individually book as you progress through the courses.
Information valid from October 2007 until revised.
